Only a matter of time for Kawhi imo, but it prolly won't happen under Pop. Just not enough opportunity in Pop's "system".
It's trip Dub season in the NBA..So which current Spur player on the roster will achieve the feat first (maybe not for the first time for guys like D Lee/Pau)?
I'm going with Fathead..
He's got the skillset..I think it is going to be a game in which Pop rests Kawhi and Anderson gets 35-40 minutes run as the main ball-handler..Probably sometime next season..

I picked Murray but Kawhi is the safe bet.
If CIA Popped goes out with a temporary illness I would have said
Kwa
or
Murray
too.
Kawhi's the only one with a legitimate shot imo. But who cares tbh. Triple-doubles are extremely overrated.
Could be Murray... he rebounds super well for a guard and we don't know yet what he's really capable of.
It could be Kawhi... he's been close but the team needs him scoring frankly. He will play make out of double teams but otherwise needs to keep aggressive scoring for the team's benefit.
Kyle has been close already, so he's a possibility. He's not a stat chaser or rebound chaser, but he's been close in games he's played enough minutes (30 or so). It's tough to say with him bc his chances are few and far between and it's tough to achieve something like that unless you play nightly. Maybe in some other team if he's traded...
Pau could do it if the bench is hitting their shots. He's more natural to a double double than anyone on the team, even LMA when adjusted for minutes. And he's a willing and able passer. He had 2 triple doubles only last year in Chicago.
Kawhi has a chance by sheer volume. We're going to need him to play huge minutes on some games down the road and he'll have a shot then.
Lee and Parker both have had triple doubles in their career. Not sure either of them will again at this point, but Lee has an outside chance if its a game where the bench gets huge minutes. (Blowout).
Kyle has some skills, but it would take a perfect storm of playing time and being hot in all 3 categories.
Not sure where all this Murray talk is from. I guess because he's young with potential and his whole career ahead of him. If he realizes this potential, sure. But despite the current run on triple d's they're not so easy to get in a balanced system like the Spurs. Manu's never had one and Tony only one. And those guys have pllayed a lot of games here (to say the least).

Kawhi. His playmaking is getting better. I think I saw him with 7 assists the other night. He'll get on at some point
Laughing at LMA when he has as much chance as anyone not named Kawhi.
Here's some advanced analytics.
LMA chances of scoring 10+ in a game: 90%
LMA chances of getting 10+ rebounds in a game: 35%
LMA chances of getting 10+ assists in a game : 3%
LMA chances of getting a triple double : .945%
and I think I was generous on the 3% for assists. Best that I can tell, he's never gotten more than 6 in one game.
Only youngins care about it, so Ima say Murray.
@ Fathead ever scoring 10 points
If only basketball was extended to 100 minutes per game. Then he'd have a 1% chance still. Lol
Tbh, i'd pick Kyle. It'd have to be a game where he starts obviously and plays over 30 minutes but I can see him with a 10/12/11 type statline eventually.
