Maker's Mark "46" Bourbon Whisky Review

Tasty stuff imho. It's a wheated bourbon so it's a bit on the sweet side. You can definitely taste a difference from traditional Maker's Mark. Biggest drawback is that it's overpriced.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this a solid 7.3 rating. Tasty and drinkable, but in Fabbs case he may want to add his own cinnamon flavoring to give it the giness he craves in his whiskey.

Best bang for the buck when it comes to non sexual bourbons, imo.

Think it's still 90 proof, maybe a tad higher. IIRC, the reason this is a step up from normal Makers is because it's reintroduced to a new barrel and aged longer.

100 proof is my sweet spot. Most of the Bottled in Bond bourbons are really good and a fantastic value. That's what I love about straight American whiskeys, there are some great drinks on the bottom shelf. The standards are pretty high no matter how much it costs.
