Jazz: Boozer sidelined by strained left hamstring

Jazz forward Carlos Boozer strained his left hamstring in practice earlier this week and will not play in tonight's preseason game against the Pacers. "It's just constricting," Boozer told the Salt Lake Tribune, who coincidentally missed last season's preseason opener as well. "It's only painful when I try to do too much. It's fine. It's gotten a lot stronger. It's healed very nicely."

Boozer has been an injury waiting to happen since cashing in with the Jazz prior to last season. At this point it doesn't sound as though this will linger into the regular season, so don't let it affect how much value you place on him.
