Just give me 2 valid reasons. They have Lebron, that's 1 but that's it. He's not even the same player anymore and cannot correct a mul ude of on court issues they have.

I can see Boston or the Wizards representing the East this time.

Idk, it could go either way. I guess reason #2 is "it's the eastern conference." But right now Boston and Washington are more cohesive teams.

Cavs could end up the #4 seed especially if they decide to rest some players.

man, boston or wizards has to catch lightning in the bottle to beat the cavs.

even at this state, the cavs are just too good and experienced. they're one of those teams that can flip a switch and actually make it work.

i just don't trust the wizards. I can pretty much see their game plan now and that's to simply outscore the cavs. you cant play streetball against the cavs when they have the GOAt streetballer in kyrie

i can see boston though, they have the occasional sloppy performance, but typically, they make you beat them. and they’re very well coached, they get baskets out of timeouts late in games and they squeeze points out with coaching moves. they have bigs that can outhustle and outrebound. personally though, I think LeBron can still carry this team out in the east....Not against the KD led gsw though.

    - 7 game series
    - nba referees

    There are your reasons

Cavs are a lock to win the East

And a 3rd reason, Kylia is playing the worst ball of his career. He takes it up a notch and they repeat

Does this look like someone mentally strong enough to play in the '80s?

I'm surprised no one started a thread about this , and I need an explanation from the usual LeBron nuthuggers. What could of possibly happened to him?David lees elbow has tremendous power? It just looks like he's begging for any excuse to rest.

Yeah, if the elbow hurt that much, why was there a 30-second delay before he collapsed to the ground? Back cramps?

Cant even beat the struggling Chicago Bulls.

10-8 in their last 18, 22nd rank defense.

    Done.

They're ed. I'm running up the white flag. I'm just hoping Washington makes it to the Finals as opposed to Boston.

It would serve them right, really. You shouldn't be able to around all season, not give an honest effort, and just cruise to the Finals.

They could be simply satisfied. There are no new dragons to be slayed since the "one for the land" dragon was felled last year. Outside of Lebron the team is loaded with guys who are easily placated with money, and that ring just gives them an excuse to be that way. Still, the East teams are notorious for incompetence so I expect to see Lebron in the Finals.

If anyone replaces them it will be Boston. Toronto doesn't seem to have it this year like they did last year. The lEast is still the lEast so even at 50% they will cruise and sweep in the first round for sure.

LeBron, Kyrie and Love are all healthy.

He was writhing on the floor in the fetal position even after the 3 minute timeout for commercials. It was almost Paul Pierce level where they had to get the wheelchair

Still too early to call them ed imo. Boston's best player and only consistent offense is 5'9", Washington is primed for a meltdown if/when the going gets tough (Wall and Beal have been taking shots at each other all season), and Toronto is Toronto. Now if the Cavs draw Miami in the first round things could get interesting, but even then I'd pick Cavs in 5-6.

I could be wrong, but I really like Washington's team. They get a hair up their ass when they play the Cavaliers, too. I don't buy into Boston for the reason you mentioned; their best player is a midget and he isn't going to beat a path to the free-throw line in the playoffs like he does during the regular season. The Cavaliers have just been so bad of late; I guess they can theoretically turn it on when they have to, but it's hard to overlook just how poorly they've played for the last month.
