Strickland rejoins Mavericks

DALLAS (Ticker) - Guard Erick Strickland is back with the Dallas Mavericks.
Strickland, who played with the Mavericks from 1996-2000, signed with the team on Monday.
Dallas also signed forward Kaniel ens and guard Samo Udrih to round out its training camp roster.
Strickland, 31, has played in 501 NBA games, 196 of them with Dallas where he averaged 9.8 points and 3.4 assists. Last season, the 6-3 Strickland averaged 4.9 points and 1.9 assists in 62 games with the Milwaukee Bucks.
The nine-year veteran also played with New York, Vancouver, Boston and Indiana.
ens played in 11 games with New Jersey last season and averaged 1.2 points.
Udrih is the older brother of San Antonio Spurs guard Beno Udrih. A two-time Slovenian All-Star, Samo Udrih averaged 13.6 points and 2.4 assists while shooting nearly 57 percent from the floor for Hopoel Tel-Aviv of the FIBA Europe League.

For those who do not know, Samo is in the championship DVD. During Game 7 of the Finals they show the scoreboard- I think at halftime or end of third quarter- and then show a guy in black by the profile. That is Samo!!
By any chance do you know who these guys are? They were at Best Buy with Beno the day my friends and I saw him there.
^ No. I recognize a few of Beno's friends, but not them. I thought he had a coach with him in SA but I don't know.

I agree, Samo is no way near Beno.....I'm surprised too. There's no way he's gonna be in Dallas for more than just training camp. No offense to Samo, but he really isn't good.

He just need a chance to prove himself. I liked him when he played in Union Olimpija Ljubljana. He had some god games. He's a bomb waiting to explode (just like Beno)!
btw: Beno wasn't very popular among Slovenians before NBA.

minusplus, I can pronounce your name, well couse spanish is a little bit more spoken than Slovenian.
Samo is healthier. They are both good, still Beno was star material for us.
I think they would make a special e to Dallas-SA games.
