He was scary good in the first 5 min or so of the 3rd. Never seen a guy dominate on defense that many times in a row and turn it into points. That includes Kawhi. I still think Kawhi is a better individual defender, but the Greek may be the greatest team defender I’ve seen. He bailed out a lot of his teammates.

Some poster, who's the worst talent evaluator, said Giannis would be the worst MVP in history

Not going to name drop, but let's just say he's a Fathead and D-League Danny fluffer & Simms hater.

He's a nice player but he doesn't want to see Leonard EVER!!! His jump shot is broke and his defense isn't on Leonards level..........

He's like a young LeBron. Very physically gifted, but with such a limited offensive game, easy to shut down in a playoff series with the right personel/strategy

I was at the game, too. What was extremely impressive was how he got most of his points in the flow of a pretty team-oriented offense. Except for that monster dunk on the steal and break, his performance was awesome in a pretty quiet way. If he does develop a reliable jumper, he will be unbelievable!

To me he was very impressive, but you are absolutely right about the refs. The bad thing about attending games is that you miss the meltdowns on ST. There were several really TURRIBLE calls - not the least of which was the foul they called on Patty for mugging li'l ol' Thon Maker on that screen he set. In the end, however, the Spurs played poorly. That horrid third quarter, turnovers and a very poor shooting night by a key player or two did us in - not the refs. If we could have had one or two of the guys step up last night as they did tonight, Spurs win.

Kid is good, but overrated and the league has to sell new faces, it was supposed to be Anthony Davis but his sucking is reaching epic proportions, while I understand what you say, my point is you cant punish Spurs for sucking and give the opposite team an extra 8 points when they are sucking even more, Bucks were 4-6.

Spurs can suck and still win the game, specially with Kiwi out but if refs them it gives the Bucks an ass smelling asterisk victory.
I recall when posters here say ¨Terrible win but I take it¨, and zebras are playing dirty on us.

Yeah. With Kawhi out, our margin for error shrinks. With most of our guys not stepping up, the margin shrinks some more. The refs step in a few times, and you have a trifecta for the Bucks to take advantage of.

But getting back to Giannis, I like the comparisons to a very young LeBron - except Lebron isn't 7 feet tall. Bottom line: I would love to have this guy on the Spurs - just maybe not instead of Kawhi. But alongside Kawhi, They would be an awesome duo.

Alongside Kawhi sure, he is like a young Lebron with a shorter range but a lot taller, has nice offensive moves and even when I think he is overrated at least Bucks reached a 4th seed while Fatmelo´s Knicks failed to make the playoffs 80% of the times.
Maybe in the future, as for now Bucks are going to pay him good to keep the cow.

Giannis is a top 3 maybe even top 2 talent in the league right now. Guy can play any position from point guard to center.
