Bryan Adams, Pamela Anderson team up for new single

New York, Oct 4 (IANS) Canadian rocker Bryan Adams is celebrating 25 years as a recording artist with an anthology album that sees him teaming up with Pamela Anderson for a new version of his hit single "When You're Gone".
Anderson replaces former e Girl Melanie C who featured on the 1998 version of the song.
The two-CD collection "Anthology", to be released Oct 18, features 36 songs recorded between 1980 and 2005 by Adams, who has had a multi-platinum, Grammy- and Oscar-winning career on the strength of tracks like "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You", "Have You Ever Really Loved A Woman?" and "Heaven".
Adams and Anderson, both born in Canada, first worked together on Adams' 1999 photography book "Made In Canada", which benefited the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
Anderson appeared in the book wearing nothing but a flag.
"Anthology" will also feature another new song "So Far So Good", which was the le of Adams' first greatest hits disc in 1993. The package will include photographs and an essay by music critic Dave Marsh.
Initial shipments of the album will include a limited edition DVD of a previously unreleased concert filmed in Lisbon and elsewhere in Portugal in February 2005.
