Rasho Nesterovic:
The Rasho Nesterovic, yet several teams have told inquiring media that they talked at least once this off season about deals involving Rasho at a deeply discounted “we’d like him off the roster” price. The Spurs say Rasho is part of their team and their plan going forward, but don’t be surprised if he’s dealt at the deadline, they shopped him aggressively last year. With 4 years and roughly $39 million left on his deal, the Spurs have their work cut out for them.

$39 mil?
Did Buddy Holly write that?
I thought it was more like 3 years and 30 million
lalalalala I'm not listening!
4 years...
and its hoopsworld...who cares.
And I'm sure if someone called asking for Rasho..the Spurs would listen with no hesitation.
I say we keep rasho and mohommad for the entire year. Then do a sign and trade with somebody with Nazr. We need both when we play Miami.
Atlanta needs someone to replace Collier........
hoopswood is not th eonly one saying the spurs are over the luxcury tax
not saying it is true but hoopsword is not the only source
hmmm...ok
I never said they weren't over the luxury tax
if spurs want picks in return now is the perfect time to call the hawks
now would be a good time to try to trade rasho for HIGH LOTTERY DAFT Picks or something to get under the luxcury tax
They're gonna keep him for now for sure... He really can be an asset sometimes...![]()
excellent point
The Rasho trade talk occurred in July before the Spurs were allowed the chance to even approach the subject of a contract extension for Nazr. After August 1, when it became clear that Nazr wants way more than the Spurs want to give him, all the trade Rasho talk ended and it moved onto Brent Barry. All the recent trade talks, especially late August and September, were about moving Barry, not Rasho.
The Spurs typically don't like first round picks because the contracts are guaranteed, but there's no telling how bad Atlanta could be, so a lottery pick would be nice.
Atlanta just signed a new center, Zaza Pachulia, this summer to a four year deal, and they have no interest in Rasho anyway. Never did. Never have.
ZaZa is their starter, but Collier was their backup....he averaged like 13 minutes last year. They will have to find some way of replacing him.
I don't trust this rumor.
I heard that the Spurs are shopping around bundle of Rasho, Beno, and Angel_Luv
(Angel_luv's salary is defined in the new CBA as NBA Groupie Minimum)
If they were trying to shop him, they wouldn't say anything. The CIA-ness has begun.![]()

and Rasho contract is $30M over 4 years.Your early most-likely-to-be-traded team includes: San Antonio's Rasho Nesterovic, Portland's Theo Ratliff and Atlanta's Al Harrington and Tony Delk.
ha ha ha ha that is funny the softest big guy in the NBA would beat Nazr in a barknuckle boxing match....damn pimpo lay off the damn crack
