I am. Was really hoping he wasnt apart of the dea to move Kawhi. But he was likely gonna be gone next season anyway so Spurs threw him in to make the money work.
yes, but it was time for him to go.
He'll forever be LDN. He didn't deserve exile beyond the wall but he can thank kawhi
For sure. It was a great run, Danny. Thanks for everything man. Good luck with the Raps and their new coach, whoever he is.
Transition D ...![]()
I'll miss him but this trade means more minutes for Spurs' young guys...THANKS for these amazing 9 years, Danny!!!!
Gonna miss LDN. One of my favorite Spurs role players of all time.
Yes. All time great Spur. He will always be
L D N
yes ... best shot blocking guard and the zen master of stripping guys on their way to a fastbreak layup
He's a FA next year, we could get him back.
Gonna miss those transition blocks...huhuhu
No
I appreciate everything he did for the team, but his best years are behind him and he wasn't really worth the contract. I was okay with him opting in, but I'm also okay with him leaving.
Gonna miss him more than Kawhi tbh
Danny just lost it. Good guy but way unreliable of late.
Slumps just don't go on that long . . .
that depends on belli, white, murray and walker.
He's a former 3 and D player that no longer plays D and can't hit 3s
Yes because 2012-2015.
Always remember his finals and playoff shooting when the Spurs were hot. But that was 4-5 years ago. The window has closed and its time for a lot of you to deal with it.
The Beautiful Game version of Danny was as good as it gets for a role player in the NBA..the 2014 Spurs had the big 3, but their biggest strength was having the best group of role players in recent NBA history(Kawhi, Danny, Diaw, Splitter)..
The Spurs won't miss the recent version of Danny, though, particularly last year..it was time to move on..at least they're letting him go now, rather than holding on too long like they did with other Spurs in recent years![]()
No
His time was up.
