The NBA is more fun when the Lakers are good IMO, you need villains..they have been the laughing stock of the NBA for the past 5 years, they weren't going to stay down forever..

Even in 2018, geography is still a selling point, despite not being as important as it used to be in sports..Lakers front office never has to be competent or have a plan, all they've ever needed is for 1 or 2 big names to choose them..
