Ah ha ha.
athletic rebounding defensive 3 point sf blossomgame is the answer to spurs wing woes
I wouldn't say that but want to see how he has developed during the offseason in Summer League and Preseason.
It has crossed my mind that perhaps PATFO have seen enough to believe Blossomgame can be a big contributor next season. He had a smattering of very good games in the G-league, but not consistently. I liked the guy at Clemson, and I think he can become a rotation player, but I don't think that he is ready for such a role yet. Maybe PATFO know a lot more than I.
Great video of his playing PF.
Moves well without the ball for easy baskets. Has good footspeed for defense. The 3 pt line is the same for every league so if he is hitting 43% in G league, mostly from catch and shoot, that is somethng he doesn't have to learn. Good hops. No glaring absence of basic skill sets that I can see.
Of course this highlight film was against another G league team, but he shows more skills than a couple of guys on the team who DO have some problems with all-around skills although maybe some special skills such as 3 pt shooting. I'd like to see him at Summer League for sure to measure him against these other guys.
His problem has been he is not consistent every game and if you do not dominate G League that is a good indicator ur cealing is very low. I wish him the best but he still needs to spend most if not all time in G league.
Guys who has better stats and play then Blossom:
pg Nick Johnson he kinda impressed me always doing the little things and always consistent
PF/C Costillo a rebounding machine but to short and not enough offense for NBA
G Oliver Hanlan almost always had 20 pts a game
G Darron Hillard probably best Toros player
PF Livio didn’t get a lot of minutes but when he did double digit in scoring and rebounding and high assist percentage.

The Spurs just need their Kawhi back.
Handing the keys to Blossomgame would be like going from driving a Ferrari to a Yugo...maybe a Ford Festiva.
The Spurs worst players all dominated the G-League, though
Bryn Forbes averaged 23 PPG on Curry-like efficiency there in 19 games..
He did not shoot anywhere close to 43% from 3 in the G-League: http://stats.gleague.nba.com/player/#!/1628417/

Looks very average and does not excel at any one thing in the game. Best cause scenario will see him in Europe before he has to settle for Japan or China.
didn't watch any G League games and those highlight films can fool ya, eh? Still I never thought he'd replace Kwahi, just wanted to see him in Summer League against comparable players.
False. Pop will manage to play some scrub ahead of him who has more Corporate Knowledge (Anderson, etc).
Also as has been said before, Today's NBA is positionless. Thus, Mills will play SF
I caught a few games in Austin this year. He actually impressed me with his at ude, more than anything, though his game has most definitely progressed, albeit against inferior talent.
Blossomgame is solving nothing in the next few years. Currently he is not an nba level player
I thought highly of the pick but he really didn't show anything promising last season
I didn't know the Spurs had 13th man woes at the SF position.![]()
He's not a 3, can't shoot to save his life...
if that's your opinion, no problem for Pop, we have 4 or 5 on the current roster
