I had an Uber driver bring her mom with her, who questioned me all the way to the airport. I reported her, ended up getting refunded and I bet she got fired. Anyone can be an Uber driver. What they do doesn't mean much, it's how the company responds that means anything. There are 300 million people in the US. You'll find someone to take just about any possible stance on any given day in a large city. It's not newsworthy, but ty tabloid journalists like Fox and CNN level gots seem to do anything to get hits.
