I know the style of play now is much more conducive to lopsided scores. All the threes, all the open court action can lead to big runs. You get hot from distance, you can build a 20 point lead relatively quickly.
But 40 point, 50 point wins in a professional league, at what’s supposed to be the highest level of basketball compe ion, well, it’s embarrassing. How do you lose by 50 points? At least we already knew the Hawks roster was pretty much devoid of talent. But Utah is supposed to be one of the better second tier teams in the league and Dallas, while better, still likely projects to be a lottery team. 50 ing point blowout?! Wtf?! It’s like a 1-16 first round NCAA game in March.
