I'd prefer for him not to be eliminated because white hatred is spreading through a major political party in the US.

Ya, I saw this debate on CNN while at the gym. Neither party is for nominating the best/most qualified. Even in the Soviet Union there was bias/privilege

If you take either of those seriously, then obviously the answer is no. An outlier like Buttigieg can use his sexuality to create the proper victimhood status to appeal to modern day Democrats without having to worry about his skin color.

I got no problem with very basic generalizations. Its quite useful in navigating in a global way. As long as the broad generalizations are not terribly flawed.
I know I had a leg up being born in a fairly economically secure family and a white male in the US. It was easy for me to see.
So if I see this I can understand some animosity. I dont dwell on the freaks on the left who want me dead. There are those on the right who would want me dead as well for even understanding the above. Turns out I like the red team's emphasis on be responsible for yourself, work hard, quit making excuses and do something if you dont like a situation, etc... good stuff.
