I know this thread may get deleted or something but honestly this whole series I was thinking about how Dejounte wouldn’t have allowed all those rebounds that a lot of players couldn’t seem to hold onto.
We lost the rebounds war all series. We had to play short at the guards position all year.

Man you guys are desperate as for narrative. The Spurs don't have a compe ive team. Without their coach and system they are a middle of the pack lottery team. Dejounte wouldn't change anything. White was the all year, then he wasn't and now hindsight kicks in with a lying narrative that your team would have won if that one scrub wasn't injured.
First Team All Defense. Sure got.![]()
James Harden is the real mvp tbh.
Offense was the problem, not sure how Dejounte would have addressed the anemic 3-point shooting of this team.
1st team all defense and somehow he's the difference when you scored 6 points with 3 minutes remaining in the 1st quarter of game 7.
Keep trying harder, got.
The following 4 seasons after the summer of 17' were over at 12:01am when the fat aboriginal got a $50,000,000 extension
Spurs weren't rebounding got. What part did you miss.![]()
Spurs lost this season when they traded away the franchise for a salary dumped career loser
whole team looked timid, we needed a real dog like Murray in game seven, not only in rebounding, but Jamal Murray would have forsure been shutdown
As a Murray fan, I know the season was lost when a horrible, unethical teammate held the team hostage and forced a trade with very little leverage that netted us a wannabe star player that can't ever step up when it matters the most when we already had another star like that. Life isn't always fair, tbh.
Spurs scored 13 points in the 1st quarter.
They lost by 4
Had they scored 17 in the 1st quarter it goes to OT. 18 and they win by 1.
That's just 18 points.
Yeah it was about rebounds.
The Spurs should have traded Kawhi as soon as he stopped communicating.
They let it drag on too long. Getting DDR was probably worse than just letting Kawhi walk.
Tough to win games when you have DePression shooting bricks in the opening quarter.
There's a healthy scoop of truth in that.
