Gibson is tough with a high BBIQ and very good defensively. Yes, he's older but definitely Spurs material and would be a solid signing for the right price.

His numbers in Minnesota look decent enough. I think he’d be find backing up Jakob/LMA for 20 minutes a night. Team first guy that brings some toughness.

We need toughness, we really do. But we need shooting more. And also, the few times I saw him last year, he struggled to switch on smaller players. Which is a must for 4's these days.

We primarily lost to Denver, because we didn’t have enough capable bigs to guard their ogre. How do we need more shooting with Rudy Gay, LMA, Bertrans, and Luka on the team. Taj brings us some versatility if we need to play two bigs in the playoffs again.

That may be true. I do think the team needs a “Taj Gibson” type of player. Someone who can guard 4/5s and hit an open jumper. I also like Looney but he is probably going to get a crazy offer somewhere.

I agree. I like Looney too, imo we could get him with the MLE.

A lot of other options like Ed Davis, RoLo, Holmes or Vonleh could be add with Less than the MLE imo.

Too old; wandering up to that athletic cliff fall-off at any minute IMO. For the money he will want, could get a better, younger player.
