Lateralis is my favorite bc the song structure is put together so well. I wouldn't add anything or take anything away from it. Damn, I miss Tool.
My favorite has been The Patient, unfortunately when Mookie and I went to TOOL in S.A. back on November 12, 2002, they never played it....
I have been listening to TOOL alot more recently and i have to say THIRD EYE is by far their best song.
Just listening to live versions blows my mind away.
What do you all think?

APC is the I love them. You do realize Maynard only writes the lyrics right?
Adam Jones and Danny Carey write the music for tool...imo they're bigger genius' than maynard (although in some tool songs the lyrics are the best part)
Billy Howerdel writes music for APC, and even though maynards vocals are more melodic in APC, I think the heart of Thirteenth Step was the music-music over the vocals

Adam Jones is the ing bomb. He got a degree in like sculpting or modeling or something like that and did art design work for horror movies like designing a monsters face or something like that (this was back when we did movies with real physical objects not computer animation)
Adam Jones designed the sculpture on the cover of Undertow, which for some reason was evil enough for them to cover up on later editions with a sleeve.
Danny Carey is the occultist....his dad was into Masonic rituals and like father like son I guess.

Yeah Tori is the . I one time missed a spurs game during the 2003 spurs-phoenix series to see her at the Majestic in SA. It was amazing.

From the "Muhammed My Friend" live perfermance with Tori and Maynard. It is awesome. I have a copy but the sound quality stinks.
Tool is one of my 3 all time favorite bands.

Undertow, Aenima, and Lateralus are the type of albums I listen to for hours, with headphones, laying down and letting my mind relax. With headphones, you can hear all of the different nuances in the music and almost something new everytime.
If anyone is interested, I have tons of bootlegs. I don't mind burning copies.
Jess has a video of that performance (Amos and Maynard). Jess is probably the biggest Toriphile I've ever seen. But, because of that I've been inundated in her music and I've become a large fan myself.
A larger number of people from this forum apparently went to that Magestic show in SA. I know Pakidan, Jess, and Spurschick all went.
I got to see her in Dallas this past March. Well worth the drive up there! She was absoultey incredible and the amount of sound that comes out of that little body is mind boggling. I love her lyrics because they are witty, sarcastic, and all around intelligent.
So yeah, Tori kicks major ass. Probably going to see her again in September in either Austin or Houston.
Ok, now Tool. My favorite is 2 tracks, but really one song. Parabol and Parabola. Other than that, it's probably Eulogy but com'on now, lets be real. Everything they do is ing amazing. EVERYTHING!
