That was my wedding day. Was a good day despite not watching it live.
What do you guys think? My favorite is spurs thunder game 6 in 2014. That game was absolutely sublime.
That was my wedding day. Was a good day despite not watching it live.
Game 5 of the 2014 NBA Finals
The first 2 and a half quarters of Game 1 of the 2017 WCF
january 2010 dejaun blair scores 30 20 vs thunder
Game 3 vs Heat 2014. Kawhi Leonard bukkaked all over Lebron & Co.
game 3 2013 finals
game 5 2014 finals
game 6 2017 semis
game 1 2017 WCF pre injury
Game 1 2013 Finals was great. I didn't think the Spurs would lose the series once Parker got that buzzer beater.
And Game 6 of the same series when Parker made that three to go up 5 late, I felt validated. It was only supposed
to be a theoretical possibility that the Spurs could lose at that point.
2014 WCF game 6
Parker got injured and did not play in the 2nd half.
Manu hit the clutch 3 to tie the game
Timmy hit the turnaround hook shot (almost got stolen by westchuck) for the game winner
Oh and Nephew's impossible steal+block on westchuck
how could I forget that one.
game 7 first round 2014 playoffs too. pussy ass Vince carter saying it was destiny or their year or whatever when he hit that travelling game winning 3 in game 5![]()
These exact four. Every minute is worth watching even today.
Honorable mention game 2 vs GS in 2013. Overcoming that 16pt deficit in last four minutes still unbelievable to me.
Honestly don't know what happened here
That game against GSW in like 2013 semis I think spurs were down 16 just inside 4min left in the 4th and came all the way back.
Game 5 2014 finals was epic, but the real magic was game 3. Lebron had just split spurs at home and now was back in Miami and I was thinking it was shades of 2013 and we were going to lose control of the series.
Well that was the game with the 90% 1st quarter, 70% first half. It was basically Kawhis breakout game. When he picked off Rashard Lewis and stole it for a fast break dunk I knew we had the ring.
Warriors vs Spurs game 1 2013 playoffs. Spurs were down by like 20 and railed back and the game ended up going into double OT. Manu won the game with a game winning 3 pointer.
The supreme game of the decade was game 5 that won the last championship. The Beautiful Game destroyed the Heat and prompted Chris Bosh to declare "That was the best display of basketball I have ever seen."
Who are we to argue with an All Pro All Star.????
Game 6 vs OKC 2014 takes the cake for me.
I remember feeling exhausted, mentally and emotionally drained after the game, especially after getting robbed in 2012. I know it wasn't a final game, but it was the most satisfying win I can ever remember.
Game 1 vs MIA 2013
To go in and steal game 1 against the mighty Heat and all their bandwagon, media loving fans was epic. And it was topped off with an epic shot by Parker after stumbling with this dribble.
EDIT:
The Manu 3 against GSW game in OT was the most fun game to watch. Just an amazing win.
Easily Game 3 of the 2014 Finals. That's by far the greatest game the Spurs have ever played, or are likely to play ever again.
That was one of a win. And wasn't that the season that Klay declared that he was just as good as Tim, Tony, and Manu? His second season in the league, and he's arrogant enough to claim to be as good as Tim? Tony and Manu comparisons are bad enough with 2 years of experience... but Tim? And people here were justifying the comment, and saying he was right. I really enjoyed watching the Spurs -slap those pinche putos that season. That win was nothing short of amazing.
And ing Manu, taking that unnecessary 3 pointer and bricking it, then coming back and splashing the game-winning 3. That pretty much sums up Manu.
Spurs @ PHX, -17 to start the 4th, win in OT, Manu with 48
Game 6 of the '14 WCF was the last time I got emotionally invested in a sporting event to where it felt like life or death. It was also the first time I really realized how big a part luck plays in winning and losing.
I knew at the time, that game wasn't just to get to the Finals, it was the de facto Finals and it was the last shot at glory for the biggest 3 (who, unlike most, wanted to win on any terms as opposed to their own). It wasn't just age/mileage either. At some point, players will inevitably lose faith if they run through the league only to suffer crushing defeats and get out super starred vs the elite.
Considering all that was riding on it and the unconventional nature of the way they had to do it to pull it off, I've got it as the best win of the dynasty, ahead of game 6 of the '03 WCSF and game 7 of the '05 Finals.
Game 3 Finals 2014. You knew they had the Heat figured out, the series was over, the Heatles were over.
game 5, 05 finals
that whole pistons series was epic
My pick as well, for all the reasons you so eloquently said my friend.![]()
2017 West Semifinals game 5.
The Manu block on Harden to end it in overtime.
A back and forth game with the entire crowd was emotionally invested in it. The end of the 4th quarter and overtime was as loud as the AT&T Center has gotten.
Big shots from Green and Manu to carry us to victory.
Game 6 WCF thunder game by far
