Spurs could really use a win. Will LMA suit up?

Hopefully another career night by Keldon, and Pop finds away to get Vessell back On the court.

Left toe sprain as an injury sounds almost as comedic as the broken fingernail one from a thread downstairs.

Just sit him out until the toe is 100%. Spurs have nothing to play for other than getting the youth experience and seeing what they got (maybe letting DDR put up stats to sucker a team into giving up real value for him).

Did he get surggey on his toe or foot? Also, is it possible to sprain a toe with your shoes on? I thought a toe sprain would occur when not wearing shoes?

It was surgery for a dislocated left toe. So this is concerning.

And yes, it's possible to sprain a toe even with shoes, especially in basketball which requires a lot of stop-and-start movements and quick pivots on the balls of your feet.

I only play recreational ball, and I've had plenty of blisters on my toes or the ball of the foot.

Off topic but just curious, has anybody noticed how crazy expensive rookie basketball cards are going for these days??? It’s fcking crazy, guys that aren’t even good are worth a ton of money based just on their hype and I guess the chance of them becoming superstars

Sounds like it's a scheduled rest day under the attempt to prevent a fine. We'll know for sure if/when he plays on the 5th.

they changed the criteria for injury reporting this year so expect a lot of questions like this. DNP- rest/load isn't really kosher in the eyes of the league on official releases so they have to provide some specific problem to justify them sitting.

he might be hurt. he could be resting. until pop talks to the media we wont know.

Are we going back to the days of teams making up minor injuries? Didn't teams used to do stuff like this when a player showed up extremely hungover or some such?

They usually would make up injuries for players they didn't want to play. It used to be a team could only carry 12 players and 3 had to sit. So for the 3 not playing they would make up injuries.

It's my only concern about White. I swear he's almost always injured or coming back from an injury. Not to be unsympathetic, but that's how it always seems to me.

I’m hoping it’s just rest. And Aldridge get to suit up and Vassell get to burn some. I know the young guns are getting experience, but I know they have a good chance to win these games and it would feel good playing good basketball.

Spurs indeed could use a win so not having White again sucks ... Vassell will get some minutes though. i hope the rookie could show something to take minutes away from Rudy Gay who is just a black hole right now. I think Pop just rests White ...

Keldon is becoming the face of the franchise. He's constantly being put front and center of Spurs media.
