im glad he called out aldridge lame closeout attempts.
man we won't get anything of value in return at this point if we try to trade him. we'll pretty much stuck with him until the end of the year.

The Mavs, Rockets, and Spurs are used to being on top, but the Texas trio is currently on the outside of the West playoff picture.
What a coincidence that they wait until they're no longer the 4th seed to make this article.
I still wouldn’t want to do the Texas tour if I’m the opponent. All 3 teams are very capable of getting into the playoffs.
dejounte has a good jumpshot, it’s been his finishing at the rim that has been soul crushing (until this year)
those clips of Aldridge "contesting" shots from 15 feet away are pathetic and hilarious
decent article but some odd things
-says Murray's shot is what's keeping him from being elite. his shot is decent imo, it's his finishing that sucks really bad
-mentions White but doesnt mention he's been MIA all year
-thinks Murray is the most promising player under 25
-writes from the POV spurs are out of the playoff picture when they were the 4th seed literally two days ago
reads like someone who watched the last 3-4 games but hasn't really followed them overall this season imho
Probably referring to him shooting 29% from 3.
Murray's shooting 70.8% from 0-3 feetThat's pretty goddamn good tbh
Not a great article. Agreed that it's someone who's basing their opinion on a limited amount of research/watching of the team.
Aldridge no longer has the footspeed to momentarily contain the ball handler when they turn the corner in p-n-r and recover back out to his man.
He said Murray was arguably the Spurs best under 25 player. Murray's midrange is good, his 3 and inability to get to the line aren't, which have led to a 51.6 ts% (league average is 55%) despite said midrange and current elite finishing (only LaVine and Fox have been better among guards). KOC is one of the best national media personalities. Reminds me of Lowe about a decade ago, before he became too connected and biased.
oofdidn't realize he was shooting that high at the rim. given what we've seen from murray i would definitely expect that to taper off. i wonder how many of those are off steals he gets or fast breaks though. i think his defense is good enough that he doesnt necessarily need to be a great 3 point shooter. if he can finish at a high level at the rim and continue to hit that pull up shot i would be happy with that tbh
Yeah its so high that its a safe bet to drop off some, that's Tony Parker or good finishing big man percentages. Then again, 20 games is a pretty decent same size. His fast-break finishing and his steals that lead to breakaway dunks are likely the main culprit but those are pretty sustainable because he's a good fast-break scorer and leads the team in steals.
This is really his first season that he's taken a decent amount of 3pt attempts. He's been able to at least hit open 3's but will obviously need to improve that going forward. I think it's reasonable to think he'll improve upon going forward but the development of that mid-range jumper has been a big deal for his game.
I think the knee surgery LMA had that had him miss the bubble was worse then the spurs let out I think
I thought it was shoulder surgery
Oh you’re right it was shoulder surgery, I always see him on the bench with the knee wraps on I guess that’s why I thought it was knee surgery
I like to think that he hurt his shoulder going for that “block attempt” of the guy that was 15 feet away from him![]()
