It doesnt work like that.
You see, Texas is the upper team. It's not an upset if Texas wins. A&M will be more happy with ruining le and Heisman hopes. Texas has a big ole target on their back and although I think they'll probably win, if they choke... every old Hogs and SEC fan will scream how Texas always chokes, even more, and it would seemingly be true. Not that anybody cares what fans say, it's just the le of choking that hurts.
Basically Texas has everything to lose. This is the perfect time for an upset. It happens somewhere every year. It could easily be this game.
A few years ago, Matt Jones made an amazing run, then an amazing pass to win the game for Arkansas over LSU in Little Rock. It was like beating the Vols all over again after Stoerner fumbled in Knoxville, causing us to lose 28-24 and us turning around, comming back and beating them by the same score. The year before when he fumbled, the Vols had everything to lose. And we blew running out the freaking clock, and they scored the game winning TD.
Ending, Texas better pimp the out of A&M, or it's a lot of bragging rights they just pissed away.
Texas is alot better than you give them credit for, and A&M is alot worse then you think.
In other words.... NOT GONNA HAPPEN
Wrong, I give Texas plenty of cred. A&M is a streaky team, and you never know in a rival game.

PREGAME: Get the "Bunch of Drunks" involved in "Rocking back and Forth" (VYs silly and classless bulletin board material during Tuesday Press Conference...could backfire...VY has NOTHING to gain and all to lose over comments like that. I am pretty sure Mack is upset over that one. Likely cost VY the Heisman too once those comments are played out)

1st Down Javorski Lane
2nd Down Javorski Lane
3rd Down McNeal option Courtney Lewis
Lather...Rinse...Repeat
Mix in a few gimmicks...
Shorten the game, Keep Ball out of VY's hands...Keep Stinky aTm D### off field

Javorski Lane has to be involved in a big way for A&M to have a shot. Chew up yardage and the clock to keep Texas' O off the field and put some points on the board. A&M also has to find a way to get some passing yards. That means using Bennett to go under the coverage. A&M also has to be willing to try the big play. McNeal has the arm to go up top a few times in the game on a solid Texas secondary.
A&M's D is not going to be that effective at stopping the Texas O. To win, A&M's O has to be able to put together some time consuming drives and put points on the board.
IF UT does get beat by UT jr I will be on this board taking like any other day. I stand by the Horns ALWAYS.
I SERIOUSLY doubt UT loses to the other ones.
Then I will give the Aggies props. Its the honorable thing to do. Will Aggie fan do the same if Texas wins? Real Aggies are nothing if not honorable so I think they will.

Texas doesnt deserve from anybody other than their own fans. The school has always been arrogant and big-headed. That's why they have been known to choke in the past and that's why most people hate the Horns. They're simply, assholes.

Well, not having attended UT, I can't prove or disprove your theory. All I know I have seen cool people on both sides and assholes on both sides. I cannot paint the entirety of either school one way or the other not having attended either.

Hey. I am not one of those Hog fans that hates UT just because. Going 2-1 vrs the Horns in the modern era showed a lot of crap UT said about us.
I dont know about this years team being this way. But those few years we traded ass-kickings.... Texas players couldnt go 5 secs without saying mother er or little piggies. So immature and juvenile. Even on TV you could hear them arguing all the time. It was like, shut the up and play. And they did, getting their ass handed to them. Hehe!
Anyways, i cant speak on this years team. And I actually have nothing against UT at all. Just the arrogance and asshole acts they used to pull.
Other than that, I got nothing but love for UT! I hope they win it all. I really do. Then, the whole CHOKERS thing will dissappear.
And you'll never hear that from a Hogs fan, ever. Because for some reason, everybody here hates Texas. The long storied tradition of rivalry between the 2 schools did it I guess. They hate us and most of us hate them. Yeah except me.

Maybe that's why Texas doesn't look at Arkansas as a rival or as even a big game. They reaaaaalllly don't like us.
Yeah when we lost 20-22 in Austin a few years back, that really broke everybodys heart here. We gave that game away and I think that's why Houston is a re , running the same plays over and over and over and over, up the middle, x10, over, again and again.

I think Texas didnt wanna play us anymore because they lost 2 out of 3 games, out of conference, and dont wanna risk it again. I understand. It's just more emotional for Arkansas because we are a small, small, small, state and have a historically good team.

You are probably right, Brutalis. Most of the big schools are going away from that because they don't want an early loss. Although I was impressed by UT scheduling OSU this year.

Arkansas scheduled USC for no good reason. They had an offer from Penn State and Oklahoma too.
I dont believe the Oklahoma one though, they never wanna play us due to our school being located practically in Oklahoma. Like, 2 miles from the border.
It would only help us recruit losing or winning, but Okla losing only hurts them.
Meanwhile. What is there in California? Yep, Arkansas has some dummies in the office.
BTW, just saw the 3rd pass dropped for a interception that would have been an easy walk to the endzone for LSU.

i guess you have never met any ohio state fans, they are much worse than UT fans. go to any div 1 campus with a good football team and you will find the same kinds of people. and how is osu in their down years? they have a pretty good team this year, barely lost their 2 games. maybe they just aren't allowed to pay players as overtly as before. cough, tressel, cough... about college football itself instead, which promotes scheduling and pounding weaker programs. whoever wins by the most is the best! you're lucky if your teams schedules 2-3 games a year against quality programs. boosters don't like to see close, tight games between equally matched programs.
Um, 90% schools in that conference are the same way.
