Excellent. Anything that bugs that squattin' in the White House is a good thing.
Workers are on strike at all 3 Detroit auto makers for the first time in their union’s history

The two tier system where people are working as temps for years has to go, as do the 60-70 hour weeks. Unless you own the company putting in those kind of hours is ridiculous.
But anything over the 40 hours is (time and a half,) (double time,) and the all treasured & sanctified (triple time.) The old man lived for the latter 3.
If this strike could get even 1/100th of the "concern" from Muricans as the SAG/AFTRA strike, that'd help restore a little faith in our society.
It's going to be a long strike. Fein got too greedy. No way he gets all his wish list.
No. Biden will have somebody step in, make everything right & he'll/Biden will take the credit, the in' squatter. He's a shrewd little sucker.
Either one is a major boon. The they've been writing & acting on for over a quarter century ain't missed a bit. & the they're putting out in Detroit is just that/ . And now they got that sucker squatter Biden pushing that EV like cheap candy. Nothing but pure from either industry.
All three auto makers are posting record profits, none of it reaches the workers. Who's greedy? The union was forced to give up a lot 10 years ago when they were all near bankruptcy
But that was free money///money from home like America is giving Ukraine/Nazi's now, Lee.
LOL
Auto industry is boom/bust.
Currently average pay for operations workers is $130,000 year.
They are asking for 40% raises based on 40 hour work week but only work 32 hours.
Demanding full fringes, 5 weeks vacation, plus regular 17 holidays.
defined benefit retirement plan
There is ZERO chance any of the big three can afford to do this.

They can if the gov't bails them out and guarantees it with a quaint..."Whatever it takes." like over in the Nazi occupied Ukraine.
Be like shaved pussy, CC.
This is not the days where there are a dozen riveters alone per production line. Given the level of automation, they very well likely could.
This situation is a good argument for UBI.
Ford has 173,000 employees.
They've had record profits and the CEOs have given themselves 40% raises.
The auto makers have said they're prepared for a strike with enough vehicles in inventory and cash in the bank to outlast the workers.
Also:
"What is the average UAW autoworker’s wage?
Full-time employees at the Big Three make on average $18 to $32 an hour, depending on seniority — wages that haven’t kept up with inflation.
Full-time workers also get profit-sharing checks and other bonuses. Over the past four years, those have amounted to tens of thousands of dollars per worker. The companies argue that the benefits they offer full-time UAW members are among the best in the manufacturing sector, including health-care plans with lower out-of-pocket costs than most Americans pay."

Keep parroting those right wing podcast talking points. They're always factual and unbiased.
"Salaries contributed from Ford Motor Company employees include job les like Engineering Manager, Senior Developer, DevOps, and Developer...."

Look around and you can see who the atheist commie bas s are in this very thread starting with gay boy OP.
No wonder yall need therapists.
Same morons thinking those flipping burgers at McDonald's deserve $15+/hr. Re s!
UBI Yang theory is re ed, but Trump should capitalize on this opportunity to simp for the union workers and gain a polling lead in Michigan
No, Trump chastised them
Trump attacked the union leader, who accepts bribes from the Soros/Rothschild globalist BigDonor establishment.... not the workers. And he's right. The concept of private sector unionization is good, but not when the leadership of said unions are corrupt and partisan.
Trump still has the opportunity to show the workers that he cares about putting their interests and jobs first and that he's an authentic populist and not just another establishment GOP "capitalism uber alles" elitist.
lest not forget Trump endorsed and voted for Obama in 2008, though admittedly between him, Hillary, and McCain, there were no good options that year and it was a recession year.
