Wanted to create a thread just to talk about potential players we could stash for a year or two. I know some people would say sale our second round picks but there are a couple of players if they do decide to come out I would love to pick.

    1. Zvonimir Ivisic - PF/C, 7'2 - Kentucky - The only reason I think he is rated so low is because he has not played a single game the NCAA is really screwing him and Kentucky over waiting so long to make a decision on if he can or can not play. As far as the player he is very athletic for his size he had good hands and can roll to the basket pretty easy and he can hit the 3 ball. He is a good shot blocker and rebounder but he is skinny but him being so tall and with his wingspan helps him recover and cover a lot of ground. He will be a work in progress but I think easily worth a second round pick

    2. Pacome Dadiet - SG, 6'8 - Ratiopharm Ulm (Germany) - Watching him he kind of reminds me of Vassell not a bad stash player one question I have is his height is it 6'8 as listed as he seems more in the 6'6 range?

    3. Melvin Ajinca - SG/SF, 6'8 - Saint-Quentin (France) - Here is I think a good role player with some upside I think he could be kind of a swiss army knife and I like his shooting. As we start moving into Playoff team our bench will need to be drastically improved and I think he could help in that

    4. Ulrich Chomche - C, 6'11 - NBA Academy (Africa) - Yeah, I know he is playing in a poor league but I like what little I have seen. He seems to be a pretty good athletic big man who can be a rim protector/enforcer and still has some skill to hit the 3 ball enough to keep teams honest. One thing that stand out is he plays very hard on defense and offense and it shows that he really really wants to get better. I am not sure if he comes out as he would be the youngest player in this draft if he did and most mocks have him in the first round in 2025

with all those 2nds we got, a couple draft and stash prospects would be a smart idea

These days the player will need to be ok with being stashed, especially where the Spurs' 2024 SRP will land this year. That's basically another FRP. The Lakers pick the Spurs own this year on the other hand would be good for that.

Love this idea and thread. Seems like no one wants to be stashed anymore, and then they eventually want big contracts (Micic comes to mind)

Ajinça is a fine prospect. He could easily turn into a solid 3&D role player.

Draft and Stash is a great option but as other have said, less and less "euro" players are fine with it.

Another solid option for the Lakers second round pick would be a two-way player. Spurs will have 2 or 3 two way spots available for the next season:
    - Diakite is in his last year of two way eligibility and will free a spot for next season.
    - Duke Jr. seems to be nothing special and might not be re-signed.
    - Barlow seems to be a keeper but it might be with a standard contract.

Bleacher Report just came out with there new mock and have us taking Topic with pick and us picking Melvin Anjica with our first second round pick. That is pretty cool another thing is they have Ulrich Chomche going in the First round all the way up to pick 14
