I like your enthusiasm and especially the duplicative thread, but I think CP3 easily breaks before he plays enough minutes to approach those assist totals, if he even were still capable.

the truth is he’s never had a weapon like this. Think about how many times the guys failed to feed Wemby last year in advantageous spots. Chris won’t miss. He’s gonna have the ball on time and on target to our best weapons (Wemby and Vassell). 25 minutes a game nets 10 Assists easy.

on addition, wemby isn’t perfect, and paul will have no hesitation in critiquing and honing wemby’s decision making.

Those game situations when the game tightened and the spurs came down the floor and ignored wemby or failed to even run a play for like - 5-6 trips down the offensive end....

while Pop dozed on the bench and refused to call a timeout until the spurs were down by 18....

THAT is where Paul should pay dividends - even if he is just on the bench -
but if he is on the floor and vassell dribbles for 20 seconds and jacks up a 35 foot fallaway -while being double-teamed -

paul should get that under control very quickly...

best free agent addition since Lamarcus, to be honest.

39-year old Chris Paul will be the best point guard Wemby has played with so far in his career.

ok but the guy is done and our lineup is 15 players deep, unlike the warriors that are like 7/8 deep and a bunch of homeless people. But yeah thinking about it, i'm probably way off on my assessment.

Like 10 of the 15 players of our rotation were bad players. There is room for Paul

im not worried about Wesley, Branham, Graham minutes

nor should Tre Jones be playing 30

I am mind boggled and flabbergasted that guys are acting like we have better Guards than Chris Paul on this roster to play? Who are they and where were they last year?!

40-year old CP3 is like our 4th best player on the entire roster easily
