I hate playing the same team multiple times in short period, let alone all 4 games within a month.
Not winning here would ruin most of the good work done as of late.

The Spurs barely won the last time, and won back down big. The Jazz could be feeling some redemption payback. Let’s see.

He’s actually ready, but his surgery recovery still says no B2Bs, and the league was frowning on us holding him out of the Laker game, so he’ll be a healthy sit tonight, and play tomorrow in LA.

would be nice for the spurs to have a game that they just control through and through without needing a huge comeback or giving up a huge comeback only for a dramatic finish

This tells me they’re dumping the game. He kills us every time, but he was held out last game, and we won.

Guess not. There was something in a tweet yesterday about his return being dictated as the Lakers game by the league that was then edited to make it look less high handed.

I think the league knows the Emirates Cup is crap, and would rather have ratings for the LA game than an Emirates Cup game in Utah.

Utah gives us trouble and the team has been digging early holes. Hardy coaches will against us.

Vassell has been cleared, but not allowed to play b2bs. He's being held out for tomorrow's game.

Will be interesting to see if Bassey seeing zero minutes versus GSW was matchup-based, as some here have suggested, or him just going back to 3rd string with Vic back

I think it's the latter. I think it'll take a string of real stinkers from Zollins (even by his standards) before Mitch makes the move tbh. Hope I'm wrong tbh.

    ^^^ I agree

Kessler back and then AD tomorrow are both the kids of C's that eat Collins alive (Kessler more so with rebounding, AD with just an all around pushing). Could be looking at a couple of those Zollins stinkers right off the bat.

However, Mitch has drastically reduced Zollins minutes the last two games (first against Utah for Bassey and then against GSW for Mamu), so the leash may be getting shorter for ol' Zach.

Unless Wemby is sitting, it makes more sense to look at UTH's and LAL's backups rather than starters.

    Excited to hear Danny Green!

I'm okay for the win streak to stop at 3. Can't let Jazz get Cooper Flagg lol. But another win by the Spurs is still most welcome

Wondering if Bassey didn't sit last game just bc the staff are easing him back into things and maybe the frequency was hitting their caps they set?

Tonight will tell more I suppose
