I just wanted the old man retire. Not suffer something potentially serious. Relax tbh.

I think that sounded better in your head than actually posting it. Imagine this being the first reply in this thread.

you prove everyday that you‘re even dumber than people already assume. Nobody here wants Pop to be sick, some just want a new head coach. I hope it‘s nothing serious.

Don't want to speculate but wording makes it sound pretty damn serious.

Hope the old man pulls through okay tbh.

A lot of people telling on themselves here. The OP only says that Mitch Johnson will be coaching indefinitely. That’s what I quoted.

A health issue could be anything, and they only listed two definite games that he’ll miss. If it were like a stroke, they would have said Mitch was coaching the rest of the year.

No, they wouldn't have. They'd use something vague, e.g. "indefinite period of time"

Yeah, no need to cause panic or invade his privacy.
    Hopefully it's nothing serious.

    Big opportunity for Mitch.

Your opinion. If it were a clear season ender, they would have said so. He’s not a player where you have to strategically obscure his status.

Hope this isnt the way he goes. I wanted him to pick the dude he wanted as his replacement. If it’s Mitch he’s been planning for, then cool.

What an exceedingly ty thing to say. I don't think anyone here wished for him to have health problems. You might be spending a little too much time on the internet if this is your knee-jerk response.

I mean, the worry is that it's more serious than "season ender" tbh.

Considering the old man has been the face of the organization since Timmy retired, I think they'd be a little more sensitive than that if it was something significant. They're not just going to go "Oh btw - Pop had a stroke, Mitch is the coach for the rest of the season" two days after the fact tbh.

Mitch has been coaching games that Pop hasn’t last year and this. That at least puts him ahaead of Brett Brown.

He missed the game Saturday, and they waited 2 days to do this. If it were something super serious, I don’t think they’d announce exactly what it was, but there’s no reason not to say he’s done for the season if in fact he’s done for the season.
