Looking at these two players as we have been discussing them as potential picks for us I was curious just to see what injury and surgeries they had. As far as Coward I believe he had a pretty serious injury in his shoulder that they found Partially Torn Labrum, articular cartilage tear, and jagged rotator cuff. I am curious to hear from anyone with medical background on your thoughts on this type of injury.

With Sober I could not find out much regarding the type of injury or the type of surgery he had. The only thing I found is some people talking that he had a grade 3 turf toe. The definition for this is “A full tear of Soft tissue - recovery 2 to 6 months depending on if surgery is required. He did have surgery so thinking the six months.

I had a turf toe injury from playing a pick-up basketball game barefoot in college. No surgery, but it sucked and took 2-3 months to recover. It can still act up in bad shoes, but I only wear Hoka sneakers now, they help prevent re-injuring it.

This is definitely a legit concern for both players but that’s one of the reasons they have the combine. They do full medical checkups on all the players so every team will have the same info. Coward only played 7 games because of his injury. He looked good at the combine going through drills though. He was obviously cleared for basketball activities for a while now. Sorber on the other hand is still recovering so his checkup will be even more important.

Only logical explanation. I tell everyone about them (no, I don’t own stock) because they’ve helped me, and I’ve seen them help others I know too.
