The NBA dog days are upon us.
now the doldrums of NBA persecution
The NBA dog days are upon us.
Meh, there's WNBA and CEBL for another month. Each is interesting enough for a fix until training camp.
Also, I'm pretty sure we get one more SL game.
Detroit on Saturday
This is correct. We get one consolation game in the next few days.
that would be the Saturday game against Detroit
worst time of the year, sports wise. baseball or crappy preseason NFL in august. hopefully, a good portion of the FIBA EuroBasket tourney will be available to watch. i'm not a huge football fan but college ball will help kill the time until camp opens up.
If Eurobasket games aren't being shown on ESPN+, there's a chance they'll all be available through Courtside 1891 for like $5.
Yeah my sports fandom goes dormant until camp. I'm ready for Halloween.
Speaking of ESPN+ it looks like that may be the only place you can see the Spurs' last SL game against Detroit.
I believe every other SL game has been on either ESPN or NBA-TV (could be wrong though).
edit -- Looks like the Heat-Bucks game today is also only on ESPN+. Also, Tuesday's Raptors-Nuggets game was only on ESPN+.
So that's 3 games out of 76 not on an ESPN TV channel or NBA-TV.

Usually if you subscribe to ESPN on a cable or streaming package, you'll have access to what they call "ESPN3" on ESPN streaming apps with your provider credentials. They often show the same stuff as ESPN+ including all the summer league games I saw.
Thankfully, football is my favorite sport....I cannot wait for August.
Also, my Astros are in 1st place right now. So they are at joy to watch.
I have MMA to watch all year.
I'll have to check out Courtside 1891. I remember looking last year during the Olympics, but I wasn't sure if they showed games, so I didn't purchase a sub.
We have football right now, so it's fine.
PS: The football that's actually played with your feet.
