I don't love the Austin games, but I guess it's good that it kind of helps break up the Rodeo Road Trip and results in only a 5-game east coast road trip. Last year I believe we had over a month without a home game for the RRT and Austin, this year that is cut down to a little over 3 weeks... I view that as a positive.

4-game homestand to end the season could be huge, I dig that.

I feel like that homestand after the RRT is going to be a pretty pivotal stretch of the season. If we can do something like 7-4 or better over the RRT + Homestand stretch, we'll be well positioned for the playoffs (insert Jim Mora: PLAYOFFS?!?!)

I'd say ideal schedule to start off and that's maybe even the most important thing for a young team.
I'm hoping for a 5-1 start before the game at Lakers. It's easy to go on a roll if we get confidence and momentum in the first few weeks.

April looks really tough, but if we're to compete with those teams in the playoffs, we can't really complain.

Pretty favorable Fall schedule tbh. Picks up closer to Christmas but hopefully we can play well the first half of the season and put ourselves in position to make the Playoffs or at bare minimum the Play-In.

Kinda wastes a premier matchup with OKC on a Xmas day gimmick with the test run facing them the game before on the 23rd too kinda spoils the holiday matchup anticipation. Plus Xmas is an afternoon tip guys can be rusty on early games but at least we get 230 instead of noon like last year, 11am CST

I love the Austin games...but I happen to live in Austin, and driving down to San Antonio is a real these days.

Does this mean that all these “national tv” games won’t be available via league pass? What a mess

I've always gotten the cheaper version of league pass because it had come free with NBA2K, which doesn't look like they are doing this year, so I'm SOL. Is Premium worth it over regular? Seems like the main benefit is streaming on multiple devices simultaneously?

My biggest gripe is that LA Games are considered "home games" 2500 miles away here in HI and get blacked out.

Nationally Broadcast Games Games broadcast on ABC, TNT, ESPN, and NBA TV will not be available to watch LIVE on NBA League Pass. NBA League Pass subscribers will have access to live radio broadcasts, and archives of these games will be available to watch 3 hours after the broadcast concludes

They will be available...just can't watch them live. Wait 3 hours to watch!

And now I'm forced to subscribe to amazon prime.

I will be watching every game for free, as I have since they started charging to listen to the games on the internet.

. For me the main thing was being able to watch most of the games throughout the league. Gettin screwed because I live in south west Missouri and am blacked out on both okc and Memphis,WTF. Last year the other team I chose to watch was the Pistons. They don’t have near the talent as the Spurs but last season they were interesting to follow. I read(hopefully misread) this year I will blacked out on espn and the networks from the Thunder and Griz games which really sucks when they’re playing the Spurs.

Not to mention Wemby first compe ive basketball game in 8 months. Just hope a combination of pre-season action and the softish opening schedule will allow him to get in shape faster with minimal damage to team W-L record..Like you said it's absolute must to hit the ground running with that lined-up opposition in the first 2weeks..

    Other scheduling notes :

    * The home-and-home with OKC including the Xmas game is weird, but it enhances the chances of a split (same for the 2-game home stand vs Warriors incl NBA Cup one). That's just how it often goes if it is not a case of an Elite team vs deep lottery one and assuming health.

    * The ending schedule is tricky but Portland and Dallas and maybe Philly could be in tank mode in last week of the season. (And they are all home games anyway)

    * Mavericks (23) having more nationally televised games than the Spurs (22) is totally unwarranted. I knew Silver is going to try to shove America's next Great white hope down our throats. Dallas are the most overrated team entering next season: Kyrie likely out of the year, AD turning 33 and his ever uncertain availability (dealing with retina issue as it is), Klay washed, a bunch of stiff bigs with medicore playmaking around them, and Kidd just lost his 3 lead assistants..

I was able to do all of that with the cheaper version of League Pass? Or are you saying the Premium League Pass didn't black you out of those games?

The talent infusion since February is going to flip that script.
