I like Curb when, uhhh, I'm effed up. Ali G is not nearly as funny as I thought it would be after seeing all the previews on HBO.
i was going to make this a poll but im too stupid to know how to do that. anyway which do you think is better?

curb your enthusiam isnt funny sometimes
love both but if I had to choose one it would be curb, it's more intelligent.

ali g is so overrated
only like 2 funny episodes and scattered funny moments
cbf only likes shows where they search for lifes more aquatic

eehhhh....obviously youve only seen two episodes then bc that show is hilaroius. and the movie is even better.
CYE is sometimes slow but it always makes me lol at least 5 times an episode (which is more than 99% of new shows that are on tv now). like the one i just watched where larry hires a hooker so he can drive in the car pool lane and get to the dodgers game on time. and he buys his dad weed bc his dad has glaucoma and larry the dad and the hooker get stoned as together.
it doesnt get better than that.
ill agree to taht.
curb is a more sophisticated seinfeld. he does the funniest though in that show and always gets bsuted doing something bad on accident.
i rented the first season of curb and returned it within an hour. :vomit
each season gets better and better imo.
it seems like one of those shows that is either really like or really disliked. not many people think its ok or tolerable.
CYE is certainly an acquired taste and takes a little effort to realize the sometimes understated idiocy of Larry's predicaments.
Larry portrays a pretty nasty sonofa .
The "Hollywood Jew" subculture and show business lingo and style is so heavy as to be off-putting some times.
Amazing houses they live in.
I like em both, but Curb Your Enthusiasm is a better show IMO.

What about the one where the guy's dog is missing and he starts to think its his bookie who is asian.
I can only take both shows in moderation.
However, a good friend of my husband's is Larry David to the tee! He's Jewish married to a non-jew. The similarities in their personalilties are uncanny.
i'll take the real george costanza show anyday.
CYE is way better. Ali G is still cool though, but not as cool as Larry David.

Ali G ing sucks. That show is terrible. Maybe I'm biased because I hate Brits. CYE is a great show. It is pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty funny.
Ali G, is one the most unfunniest shows Ive ever tried to digets in 20 minutes.
How that clown has a job is beyond me.
That ali g guy is pretty damn annoying.
I think his accent is what makes him so damn annoying. Those British accents are not good....
