Sprint retention plans rock.
ive had sprint for like 4 or 5 yrs. soi get cingular today and call to cancel my service. well they werent too happy so they ask what it will take to keepmy business.
i ended up with the same plan, 2000 anytime minutes, unlimited n/w (upgraded to 7 pm from 9 for free), 500 txt msgs for each of my two lines, unlimited pic msgs for each line, 2 150 instant rebates for phones, and a 150 service credit towaqrds my phone bill. oh yeah and my monthly bill went from 100 plus taxes to 75 plus taxes.
i think i did pretty good.![]()
and this is for two lines.
Sprint retention plans rock.
sounds like you regulated, chode
Only a true choad would stay with sprint.
yeah i did the same thing a few years back when i was going to cancel and go to nextel.
they gave me 1000 anytime and 2000 n/w starting at 8, that was back when that many minutes were unheard of. i used to just call people and talk for no reason just to use my minutes. lol
i think i did pretty well.
yeah i pretty much did, remember when i regulated your moms chode?sounds like you regulated, chode
I have 750 peak 750 night minutes.Unlimited vision(web use),unl messaging,
and unl right offs on my downloads(Ringtones,MobiTV etc)
I pay $20 with taxes included.
I'm waiting for the Palm Treo 700p.
A friend of mine and his wife have the 650 and it is the gadget to have aside from the XBOX and IPOD.
I have a 650 as well, and I love it, props to Joe for helping me make the correct decision.
I heard that the 700 will be a pocket PC version. Im happy with the PalmOne OS.
In addition to the 700w and 700p, Palm is supposed to be releasing two other models this year.
I've been with Sprint since 1996. I need to try this and see what kind of deal I can get.
Dam, I hate Verizon, they'd never do that for me...![]()
Verizon's clarity is the best though. I had Verizon for about 3 years. It was a Startac (best pure phone ever made...barnone!)That thing fell in the water, was dropped so many times, lost, bitten, broke several antennas and still sold it "as is" with original battery @ $35. I had bought it originally @ $60.
Yes, but their customer service sucks, their phoens suck, and compared to the other cell phone companies, their prices suck as well.
If I wasn't under a 2 year contract with them and if they didn't charge me like 500 bucks for early cancellation, I would switch services also!
i just called her and she doesnt remember that either... infact, she says, she doesnt even have a chode
i can vouch differently
just wait til your onctract is up and then call and tell them youre switching to a different company. theyll ask you why and jst tell them and then theyll ask what you want. i pretty much customized my own plane. im actually going to get 2000 anytime minutes for 2 dollars cheaper than the 1500 minutes.
I do agree,Verizon's phone selection sucks!T-mobile phones also suck! Who's sorry idea was it to put the T-Mobile logo in pink???? PINK?????????
Do you call their customer service people over the phone or would you be able to barter a better deal by going to one of the stand alone Sprint, Verizon, etc stores? I found that they'll give you a good deal on the phones if you go to the actual store, but they can't customize phone plans there, can they?
I was manager for a big dealer of wireless phones and you cannot get a customized phone plan unless you talk directly with Sprint/Verizon.
Sprint is alot more flexible in plans and credit checks. Verizon many times
has higher deposits and stingy plans. Beautiful, clear calls though.
I use Verizon pre pay. For last 9 years. It averages about 35 bucks a month. No contract... no depost not peeking at my credit. Keep there little fingers out of my .. Beep the contract scammerz.
^Yes, but how many minutes and stuff do you get? I have Verizon under contract and I pay $39.99 a month (plus tax) for 450 minutes and unlimited nights and weekends and mobile to mobile...
Which sounds like an ok plan, but Sprint has better ones...
If you talk a LOT then the subscriptions are better.
Was that a back-handed insult?
If you talk ALOT on the phone get yourself T-Mobile.They have the best plans IMO.
Best bang for your buck if you're interested in paying low for alot of minutes. The service isn't that bad and the phone selection is good.
But will this still work if I'm not a chode regulator?
probably not. if you want though ican take you under my wing and teach you the way of regulating chodes.
