I'm 15 min.s into it and I'm guessing that the jewish mob lawyer is a very bad guy who is plannign on ing Carlito over.

I won't deny that final shootout scene is probably one of the best ever, but overall I think Carlito's Way is a better movie. If nothing else you can actually understand what Pacino is saying most of the time in CW.

The lawyer was a bit messed up wasn't he. You don't kill a drug leader or mob leader, whatever crime boss he was, and his son, in cold blood.

Anyway, Carlito should have had Benny Blanco from the Bronx shot, instead of letting him go.
