We're having a party here in my neighborhood - luckily I live among a bunch of Texas Exes and UT fans. I'm thinking a twelve pack of Modelo Especial and a 750 of Jager should put me where I need to go, since I'm not going to be in the hallowed grounds of Pasadena or Austin. (There's a handle of Crown in the cupboard in case I need to call in for backup.)

Thank God my boss doesn't expect me to be at work on Thursday morning regardless of the outcome.

(1) Better than hanging out with a pack of Sooners, no matter what the occasion.

(2) Aggies with a sense of history should want UT to win for state glory and the chance to beat the defending national champion next season. Those that want the Horns to fall aren't any better than sitting around with a bunch of bandwagon SC fans.

Mookie and other fellow Horns fans, first off I've got an admission to make. I'm so ing nervous and worked up about this game that I have yet to have a full night's sleep this week. I've lost all objectivity about this game, I can't listen to sports radio or watch any sports related tv because when they start talking about the game I get way too worked up, and I can't even get intimate with the wife because of THIS ING GAME!!! That's how bad it is, I'm thinking of just getting into some serious heroin use from now until kick-off tomorrow night, so that I can be completely numb about the whole thing, that's where I'm at right now.

As for the game, I will put on my #60 Tommy Nobis jersey tomorrow morning first thing when I wake up, and I will not take it off until they light that ing UT Tower orange with a big ing #1 on it. I will also begin drinking heavily and excessively first thing tomorrow morning, I'll start off with some bloody mary's and then progress to beer and scotch throughout the day. My main hope is to watch the final seconds tick off the clock as UT secures it's first national championship since 69-70, and to then pass out in my own pile of burnt orange vomit. Hook'em!
