Pacers pick up options on Tinsley and Brezec

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Indiana Pacers picked up the fourth-year contract options for guard Jamaal Tinsley and center Primoz Brezec, the team announced Wednesday.

Both players will make $861,600 this season. The options are for more than $1.55 million apiece for the 2004-05 campaign.

Prior to the moves, the Pacers had five players under contract past the upcoming season.

The 6-3 Tinsley has averaged 8.6 points and 7.8 assists in his first two seasons with the Pacers. He was selected 27th overall by Memphis in the 2001 draft and later traded to Indiana.

The 7-1 Brezec was selected in the same spot by the Pacers one year earlier. He has averaged just 1.9 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.
