Can I buy Walter's knowledge of sports for a couple of bucks?
They are going the be the celebrity (and former player in AHLL!!) hosts for the opening ceremonies at Alamo Heights Little League on March 5.

Why would I waste a Sunday to go see those two? They are horrible.
I was poking fun at the flyer I got for the opening day ceremonies for my kids softball & baseball league. They usually have a lot of good things going on that day...and it just looked funny to see "local celebrities" on it.

They make it pretty hard to pass up ... like they won't say who the celebrity guest is that will be throwing out the first pitch. I'm afraid to see who it is.

Greg Simmons or Paul Alexander was the celebrity guest for opening day at my little league one year; two years earlier, it was the inimitable Joe "Boo" Fowler. The guy is an absolute idiot when it comes to sports knowledge. I think the majority of the time he just takes the opposite view point in order to get an argument going. I wonder about him and Vexler sometimes, maybe they spend some 'private' time together?
