On Oprah's Wednesday 'voting party' show featuring important celebrities like P. Diddy (Vote or Die!), Drew Barrymore and Christina Aguilera, svelte suffragette Cameron Diaz took to shock tactics to get the female vote out.
After a discussion on lynching and the vote, Diaz spoke of the dire consequences for women if they sit out this election:

I hate to tell you, but MANY intelligent women consider the abortion issue to be such a violation of their right to control their own body that it is an easy stretch for them to move to their hyperbole of the rape analogy. If they have no right to control their body, then they really have no right to control what happens to their body. Sure, it's hyperbole, but it's an issue that evokes passion as well as reason. I think the analogy detracts somewhat from the argument, but there is some validity to the idea that they are both issues revolving around the sanc y of a person's body.
Its kinda like equating the war in iraq with the war on terrorism.
Like I said in the other forum (may it rest in peace), I think it was probably a purposeful exaggeration on her part to illustrate the dangers of allowing only the male voices in society to dominate law. This is a Worst Case Scenario kind of comment, but I don't think she's suggesting that any specific party or candidate advocates legalizing rape.
It's just a strong statement meant to "Rock the Vote," not for partisan political purposes. In other words, if you don't care at all about any of society's issues or laws, then that's the only reason you shouldn't vote. Basically, anyone who's not an anarchist has a responsibility to vote. You may not agree with that, and she probably could have worded it a little less "hardcore" anyway, but I think it's pretty clear what she meant.
