Yeah, I seem to remember this happening after this sixth game of the rodeo road trip. Two losses later all the woofers were back in the closet.

Well believe me, I'll taunt the out of the Mavs when they get knocked out in the postseason. But I see no point in laughing now with 20-odd games in the regular season left and the Spurs up a 1/2 game in the standings. For all I know, the Spurs could choke and the Mavs could go on and win the le (yes, far-fetched, I know).

I just like rubbing it in. Not that I believe the Spurs are significantly better than _allas -- I don't -- but it's funny to provoke the them and see what comes out. Namely, complaints about the officiating.

Don't worry, once you've been a fan for a few years you'll understand there's nothing you can do.

Exactly why I like you. I think you're more level headed and less homerised (is that word? ) than most fans...spurs or otherwise.

You give other teams credit; you support your team without overrating them; you seem to know anything is possible.

The Mavericks will never defeat the Spurs in the playoffs because they are incapable of defending Tony Parker, Bruce Bowen owns Dirk Nowitzki, Desagana Diop can not be a starting center on a championship squad and as a team there passing is very average.

They are still a good team, and a threat but if the Spurs are healthy Dallas have little chance.
