Yeah so, I'm trying to burn a DVD, but the programs I'm using will give me some error message, either: Bad or Corrupt Media or This is an illegal procedure terminating task.

Bad or Corrupt Media = The blank disc is bad.

So, I tried many discs they all say the same, this can't be an illegal procedure because this is homemade, I used Nero DVD Maker to make it. The programs I'm using to try to burn it are Clone DVD and Nero. Any suggestions? The thing that worries me the most is that I might need a new DVD-R drive.

Try DVD shrink... that's the only advice I can possible offer. Works for me like a charm.

Maybe try decoding it with dvd decrypter...don't know if that would help but it's worth a try.

I get some bad disc errors - but run it through decrypter, and then running the decrypted files through shrink, then burning through decrypter. Takes twice as long as regular, but it works.

Thanks for the suggestions, I think I tried what you said and now it's at 64% burning so I think it's working.
