Where'd I leave that gun???
We all probably saw the article that said Pop was considering resting Tim and Manu on the second night of back to backs, and I was thinking about this for a little while, and it struck me, why not split them up?
For the Suns game, a little man, run-n-gun kind of game, we should rest Tim. Then the next night, against the Rockets, with Yao in there, it'll be a slower, grind-it-out game, so we can rest Manu for that one.
In both games both guys can suit up, and maybe they can get in there if things are going badly and we need a spark or something, but I think this would be a more creative approach than what's being considered now. Sure, we'll probably have a 90% chance of beating the Suns with both Tim and Manu in, it's most likely gonna be less than 40% the next day against the Rockets with both of them out. With my idea, it'd probably be like 75% both games.

I don't think it's a sure think Pop will rest them.
