Yesterday I got the word that I had been hired by United Health Care. Its a good job with great benefits and the money is pretty good too. I wanted to thank easjer and j-6 for their resume help. I also wanted to thank Easjer, Melmart, Kori and others for their support and kind words through all this and other things I have gone through these last few months. If anyone thinks that this is just a message board about sports....you are way off. We are a family. Sometimes we agree and sometimes we argue (like a family)but in the end we are always there for each other. Even someone who hasn't been as active on the boards of late like me is still considered part of the family.

Pacificare now part of the UHC family, while not a bad company to work for....
nearly drove me to the insane asylum.
Probably because of all the added responsiblity and no added pay for one...or just the fact that the non stop phone calls for a month were driving me nuts.

But they are a good company by and large, though they are a bit skimpy on their HMO insurance for employees, or at least Pacificare was.
