Good God, it's just a name - there are people with Spanish last names that are dark and there are also people with those names that look white. She might only have a great-grandfather who was hispanic and passed the name down or both of her parents might be Mexican. Not all Mexicans, Latinos, etc, are dark brown. Who cares.
