Awesome, I might pay attention to the game then..
Awesome, I might pay attention to the game then..
Bill Walton is putting on a show, saying:
Phoenix has a better defense than Houston, and
Phoenix should just play for fun since Amare and Kurt are out.
Hilarious!!
easily. He has 40 pts with 5 mins left in 3rd
I'm guessing low 60s. He has 40 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd...
BTW, This game is a classic example of why Kobe is the MVP. His team has the 7th playoff spot in the compe ive Western Conference. Box Score so far in today's game:
Kobe 40 points
Lamar Odom 12 points
Rest of team combined for 16 points.
Although, now that I think about it...Dirk made a strong statement too against the Spurs tonight.![]()
We jinxed him. He scored only 1 point the rest of the 3rd quarter...
No way. Did you see how bad the Lakers were when he sat to start the 4th? I almost feel sorry for him...almost.
What a sucky game.
The Lakers team, outside of Kobe and Odom, is so pathetic it's not even funny. You have Smush Parker as your starting PG and and Kwame Brown as your starting center....you know you suck.![]()
Another thought, Walton has actually been pretty funny tonight...
I know, I know, but there were no gay references tonight. It's a start...
LOL @ Walton and the Beethoven / Diaw comparisons.
Ha. Right on target, 51 points. Kobe hasn't been as clutch this season as I thought he'd be. Of course, that's probably because teams can afford to triple team him with his sucky supporting cast.
BTW, they will get swept in the first round by the Suns, even without Amare.
^ Not swept, but handled. I'm hopeful Kurt Thomas can be ready to play limited minutes in the series, since his presense won't have an affect. It's the perfect series for him to get his feet wet again.
Supposedly he might miss games into the second round.
I hope he can come back, but stress fractures are nothing to mess around with.
They need him next year more than this year.
