Did anyone here when Avery said, "I've been looking for internal leadership for 79 games and I haven't gotten it yet!"? Seems to me that his comment was directed squarely at Dirk. Seems odd for him to say at this point of the season after coming off of that huge win in SA.
Does anyone think the Mavs might shop Dirk and hand the reigns to Howard if the Mavs don't make WCF?

AJ told Robinson that God is ashamed of him when he doesn't play to his abilities. He isn't going to spare Dirk.
AJ needs to relax a little. Every lost he freaks out on. I'm sure the players are getting sick of it as well.

Mavs land in Groundhog day = fast start, some incredible games, then poof.
he freaks out about bad losses. and lately, the mavs have had a LOT of bad losses. i like what Avery is doing. some of these guys are just being lazy as crap, and they need to get over that, and play harder.
If the Mavs don't want to listen to him, they will never have to worry about matching that "only one".
Every loss is a bad loss so does that mean Avery should yell at them after every loss? Avery should be more worried on getting them ready for the next game than complain about the last game. That sounds logical to me. Players just tune it out anyways.
