Just saw a story on News 10 tonight here in Sacto and he says that if he were on the team from the beginning, they would be a one or two seed by now. Get a life Artest.

Said player gets no respect from me. His team sucks, and wouldn't get out of the second round under his scenario.

Yes, I am jealous. I am jealous of a guy who has the impulse control of a five-year-old.

    Currnent standings.
    3) Denver - W 43 L 34
    7) Sacramento - W 41 L 37

It would of been possible. But since the suns are in the same division as they are, it would of been close.

There's no way they're better than the Suns. Still, I'm happy Artest is making such a difference again.

I'm not. I was hoping for a Rider-like exit from the league.

If push comes to shove we can just get someone to throw a drink at him.

If it wasn't someone throwing a drink, it would have been something else eventually. The dude is gasoline, and there are sparks everywhere.

True, it is possible they could have won at least 50 games making them a 1 2 or 3 seed maybe. He really has not done much more than alot of other players.

Excactly. And it will happen next year.
Adelman won't handle him, he is too soft of a coach. Yeah but Carlisle is not. Arest will scew it up on every occasion on evey team.

Most teams would take Artest if the price was right.

If the Pistons took him, I'd stop watching the Pistons. That's all I'm saying. The tragedy of that is there was a time that I cheered for Artest, even kicking something when I found out the Bulls sent him to the Pacers for Jalen Rose.

With Ron's mentality there's always the potential to cause an upheaval with his team. Ron's in need of some serious education, he has the mind of a child and children are generally only concerned for themselves.

    Ron Artest Quotes

“That's gonna be fun, ... I love the tension. I love when everything's going wrong ... In the NBA, they don't promote guys like me. They like guys who like Cheerios, good guys. But I find a way to promote myself.”

“I'm going to continue playing hard and out of control, like a wild animal that needs to be caged in. I'll let the referees handle it.”

“I'm looking forward to being bashed and cursed out. That's going to be a lot of fun.”

“I'm very edgy and I'm not going to balance it, ... (Last year) it's over now. I'm back now. Ready to play ball and sell some records.”

"I've never taken medication (to control moods) in my life. Doctors have suggested it and I say, 'OK, give it to me.' But I throw it in the garbage immediately." -- Ron Ron.

"They better not put me in the All-Star Game. I won't shoot, but I'll dominate that easy game. I'll be playing hard defense. I'll be foulin'. I'll be flagrant fouling. Everyone will be like, 'What are you doing?'" -- Ron Artest.

As a teenager, Ron Artest played in an AAU Tournament, got angry and knocked over two water coolers. He then told his coach, "I don't know what's wrong with those buckets."

"They should pay Chris Mullin like $3 million a year or pay me $4 million or hire Shawnelle Scott. Hire a player. Get a player coaching." -- Ron Artest, on the coaching search at St. John's.

"I hope not. It's not moving. It's sore, but it's staying there." -- Ron Artest, on the possibility of his nose being broken.

"I'm going to be one of the best. Nobody's stronger than me. Nobody can really stop me at my position. I can play point guard through (power forward) effectively. And I can shoot the ball and play defense. I have one of the most complete games in the league." -- Ron Artest, the man, the legend.

"We was playing hard, man. He was trying to post me up. I wouldn't let him do it. I went right through him." -- Ron Ron, on how he broke MJ's rib.

"I'm done with the suspensions. It feels good. Twelve games is way too much. I'm not worried about it. I'm not getting suspended next year. Or this year. I just know. I can't. We're five games away from the big dance. April madness." -- Ron Artest.

"I didn't hold up no middle fingers. My middle finger is crooked so it sticks out. Maybe that's what was showing." -- Ron Artest.

"If I had a player out of line, I would bench him. That's all you can do, bench him. You don't kiss nobody's rear end, because it stinks." -- Ron Artest.

"I'm not a dirty player. I'm a veteran. I know some tricks. Richard Jefferson's a dirty player. Jefferson punched me in my stomach last year in the playoffs. And the ref saw it and the ref didn't say nothing. He just let him punch me in my stomach. So tell Byron Scott about his player, that Jefferson's a dirty player." -- Ron Artest.

"Because he's sneaky. He's a sneaky guy." -- Artest, on why Jefferson doesn't have a bad reputation.

I'd argue that. Even if you win that argument, that excuses some of the stunts he's pulled?

hey, noone is excusing his many stunts. i aint sugar coating . but i will however continue with my opinion that Ron is a difference maker and stellar defender. he does have the power to take a team down, but has proven that he can also play a big role in helping teams prosper.

Nobody said he couldn't play D. He's just got an IQ of about 75, emotional problems and millions of dollars.

Depending on his sanity, I wouldn't be suprised to see the Kings make the Conference Finals. Kings, Nuggets, Suns, and Grizzlies have a equal opportunity to win two playoff series against one another.
