Let us know how that goes. That's one of the trips I've wanted to do for a while - affordable and the reefs are protected and in good shape (relative to the rest of Florida, Hawaii, Bahamas, etc.).
For $650 I can make a three day liveaboard run to the Tortugas next week with all the diving I can handle and even a opportunity to do a little spearfishing (Which I've never done, but really want to have a go at. Diving AND hunting all in one weekend? Life's good.).
Problem is, I'd have to take off Thursday and Friday for the trip and I'm already taking off Thursday and Friday of next week since the wife and tribe are coming here to Central Florida for a little Disney getaway and the week after the dive trip is my scheduled monthly trip back home.
Damn, I hope the diving and hunting gods smile a little on me and make this happen...
