Is he like DRob when he was young?
I love the kid.
huge game for the magic as well. Keeping play off hopes alive
yeah!!!!!!
he's on my fantasy team.
that's great news!
wait, WTF!!!!!
he shot 10-19 from the FT line...bas .
I wish there was some way the Spurs could get him.
holy cow! That's a spiiicy meatball.
Although, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm kind of hoping that the Sixers don't make the playoffs and the Magic do instead. At least they'll give the Pistons some trouble!
Howard is a beast.
I think DRob was quicker and faster but Howard is much more developed/stronger than DRob at this point of his career.
I am looking forward to the Amare vs Howard games..those guys are going to go at eachother..oh yeah and I am glad that we will only play Orlando twice a year. that team is going to be REAL good..
Dwight Howard is a beast. Somebody here said something along the lines of "Dwight Howard is going to own the league in a few years" and I completely agree. That guy is really talented and he can only get better. He's going to have a few 30+ Rebound games, probably.
Things ought to be put in perspective... These are the career records of some of the greatest rebounders in the game, in recent history:
- Moses Malone: 37
- Charles Oakley: 35
- Dennis Rodman: 34
- Charles Barkley: 33
- Kevin Willis: 33
- Dikembe Mutombo: 31
- Ben Wallace: 28 -twice-
- Shaquille O'Neal: 28
- Patrick Ewing: 26
- Tim Duncan: 25
- Hakeem Olajuwon: 25
- David Robinson: 24 -twice-
Here you have the list of the highest total rebounds by a player in a single game, since 1988. There are 32 performances with over 26 rebounds, in 18 years.
Other out-of-this-world performances, include: Kevis Willis' 29/31, Charles Oakley's 26/35, Chris Webber's 51/26, Charles Barkley's 34/26, Dikembe Mutombo's 27/29, and Shaquille O'Neal's 24/28... and now, this barely 20 y.o. beast. God help us all.

I can believe, because I feel the same way and so do hundreds of other Sixers fans.
There is no point in going to the playoffs if you can't possibly make it out of the first round, IMO. Sixers vs. Detroit again, just like last year, the Sixers might get hot and take 1, but the Pistons will win easy.
Go to the lottery and try to get a better draft pick.
Actually, it appears not. I t would take a of a lot, but the Magic could still get the 8 seed.
I'm hal-hoping for the Wiz to get eliminated, just so I don't have to watch Arenas ball-hogging any more.
