For Mom by buckethead.
DMB's Live at Luther College (the 2 cds)
Life By The Drop
Creep by Radiohead
Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton on MTV Unplugged
U2 at the Red Rocks, any song
Nirvana on MTV Unplugged, any song
U2 @ red rocks is not acoustic
Eric Clapton - Leyla from the MTV Unplugged show
The acoustic version of Everlong from the Howard Stern show is great. Also, Lay Lady Lay by Dylan, Marley's Redemption Song are my favorites.
Plush by Stone Temple Pilots on Howard Stern and Hotel California
Oh, okay.![]()
It used to piss me off so much when I would download something off Napster that said "acoustic" when instead it was just "live".
The new Jackson Browne acoustic CD is pretty damn good, so is the MTV Unplugged of Oasis, but Travis' acoustic version of "Hit Me Baby One More Time" actually makes a Britney song worth listening to, and that's impressive.
Don't know if it qualifies as acoustic but I don't give a :
The Trapeze Swinger or Such Great Heights by Iron & Wine

Ben Folds Five doing Dr. Dre's es ain't is also good.
Plush-STP
316-Van Halen (not really an acoustic, but an acoustic progarm that Eddie ran through the EBMM)
The complete Dave Matthews/Tim Reynolds double CD set
Foo Fighters-Times Like These
Spanish Fly-Eddie Van Halen
I like a lot of the songs in here. I am also partial to the single acoustic guitar version of "Bizarre Love Triangle" by Frente. With the original New Order version, I honestly didn't pay a lot of attention to just how touching the lyrics are. There is also a song called "Labour of Love" that I like a lot on that same album.
irregardless, u2 blows fat donkey balls
and not to be mean or anything but i think shinedowns version of simple man blows.
TESLA Five Man Acoustical Jam
You can listen to the entire album it is fabulous. This is the album that kickstarted the whole "unplugged" boom of the 90s. It has Tesla originals from their 1st two albums, plus some fantastic covers..including SIGNS
Just yesterday I heard that song for the first time. Loved it!
I had no idea it was a cover.
Love the cover version from Tesla, but the original is so much better. It's one of a few songs that I classify as perfect, along with Blues Image "Ride Captain Ride" and Cheap Trick's "I Want You to Want Me." (off the top of my head).
