Wanted:Young God-fearing wife

BRAY, OK — Standing on a dirt drive leading
to his small home off of Medcalf Road
near Bray, Michael Thelemann says the
all the media attention regarding his quest for a
wife — calls from as far away as Dallas and New
York — has kept him busy over the past few days,
but it has also made him more desirous of finding
a virginal, young, God-fearing woman.
Rather than place an ad in a newspaper or on an
Internet site, the Stephens County man placed a
sign in front of his property earlier this week, offering
anyone $1,000 if they would help him find
a bride, preferably young, even as young as 12.
This proposal, however, has not gone over well
with his neighbors, many of whom have young,
unmarried daughters of their own.
Hoping to wed soon, the bearded man, sporting
a pearl-snap shirt and brimmed hat, stood by his
unusual request.
“It’s the right time and God’s been preparing
me,” Thelemann said, adding that he’s more flexible
on the age requirements now.
While that original sign is gone, believed to
have been stolen, a new sign placed out by the
roadside reads: “Do Not Need a Non-Church Going
White Supremist (sic) Bride From Accusing
Heathen Pig Worshipping Parients (sic). God is
Good.” There is no mention of a particular age requirement
on the new sign.
Still, neighbors in this rural corner of Stephens
County, between Lake Humphreys and Clear
Creek Lake, are concerned that Thelemann may
be coming for their daughters and cite instances
when he has allegedly peeked in windows and approached
people offering them $100 for a girlbride
as young as 9 years old.
Concerned mother Jamie Tilghman, who lives
just yards from Thelemann’s property, said the
former lawn care specialist is well-known in the
area for being a bit odd but mostly harmless. But
his latest request “has everyone furious.”

But it's for real. It was a front page story in my hometown newspaper (that was why I posted the link) and if you google the guy's name you will find all kinds of news articles about the story.
There are all kinds of freaks out there.
That text in the picture above is fake. The lettering is computer generated.
Anyone can see this is a photshop job. It's just a white square with mouse generated lettering and some fake dark splotches to make it look real.
Oh, that sign probably is fake. I meant the story is real. There is a real picture with the story at the online newspaper link I posted. That picture is just one that was one the web with the same text. Yes, I am sure someone photoshopped it to go along with this story, but the story is real as far as I know.
Maybe they cooked it up just to get fake publicity?

Clearly you have never met anyone from rural Oklahoma. They aren't that smart. The guy in that picture in the newspaper article looks like half the guys from my hometown on any given Saturday night when they were all cleaned up for a dance at the "sheep barn". That was the big thing to do on the weekends. Yee-Haw
