I disagree. That is a huge advantage for both team going into the next series against Dallas, Sacto or SA?
That when Lakers and Clippers meet each other next series, neither team has to leave his own bed, eat in a restaurant or travel more than their own home games?

Kori, who will the city of Los Angeles be behind to win that series, the new kids on the block, sad sack, perennial lovable losers, or the Lakers who they have been watching in the playoffs for the last 35 yrs?

Why is that?
TPark, if I said the sun set in the West, you would disagree.
The travel in the next series will be a jar and an inconvenience.
that should be fun to watch.
Southwest get it rightWhy is that?

Of course it is an advantage. They get to practice in their own practice facility each practice session, they do not get worn out with travel, they get to eat their normal food, and stay in their own time zone.
It is not just the travel. We all feel better sleeping and waking up in our own beds, and we all do better in a routine, NBA players are no different.
What about if the Spurs play the mavericks.
A whole 1 hour on a plane.
Whew, they will be totally worn out.
Im sure they could find some good food in Dallas, like SA.
AND, it would be central time zone as well.
????
Im sure their beds are nice in the hotels. We all feel better sleeping and waking up in our own beds
I doubt the Ritz busts out a MOtel 6 like matress.
Plus, in the next series itll be two hours difference for the Lakers or Clippers.
So, all the "advantage" of round 2 would be out the door.
They still have to sleep and practice in Dallas for 3 nights for games 3 and 4.
And if it is Sacto and Dallas???
Ok, what about my query about who LA will root for in that series?
I prefer not to think if Sacto moves on thank you.
Jim, what I'm saying is we'll be used to it. They won't. Starting travel after a couple of weeks of downtime will be a DRAG for whoever comes out of that series. They'll be at a disadvantage.

Lakers.
Im sure Laker fan outnumbers CLipper fan 2-1
But if they beat Denver on I think monday, then the Clipper fans will come out of the woodwork.

Spot on as sometimes Ex.
Memphis is far away
that is a valid point, but I still think rest helps more than hinders at this stage of the season
Tpark- if you'd pick and choose your arguements, and only engage in the ones that are actually worthwhile, you wouldn't sound as deafeningly stupid when you do open your trap.
