If he had it, this post is exactly right. Imagine that...suddenly, everyone is happy, Mavs fans are saying they'll win the next 3...but alas, it is not so.

Seriously, all things considered that was not a bad look. As soon as the ball got to Horry with time on the clock I thought it was going down.
edit: I take that back, on replay that wasn't nearly as good a shot as I remembered, in fact it looked virtually impossible.

The scary thing is the shot had the right distance ... it was just a little off.

From the replay, I seriously thought if the shot was an inch to the right, it would have banked in from that angle.

All the Spurs need is one win there. They've been in worse situations, IMO.
If horry was playing the kings it would have went in. We shouldn;t have been a situation of having to take such a bad shot though.

Either learn to hit a jump shot or pass the ball. And for the love of god, stop somebody on defense ONE TIME. They keep switching TP on Dirk on those screens, and Dirk keeps going by him like a traffic cone and drawing fouls on a helpless Tim. Give Dirk the shot if you want but stop letting go inside.
I really liked that last play where TP was one foot to the side of Dirk, AND IN FRONT OF HIM, IN POSITION TO DRAW AN OVER THE BACK FOUL, and he didn't even try for the rebound, despite being the nearest Spur to Dirk and the only one in position to get it.

Gosh, I think I (and the other like 10 spurs fans) would have burned down Austin too. What can I say? We like an excuse to run around the streets screaming up here. I talked to my friend in Dallas last night and in the background you could hear the re s screaming like they just won the entire championship or something.....of course my friend was yelling back "whatever you say, have your fun, its going to be better for me when we come back and beat you, just wait, we'll win game 4." I then told him to try not to die haha.
